1. Who this is with

EdgeWeave Ltd ("we", "us"), company number 17491262, registered office 66 Paul Street, London, England, United Kingdom, EC2A 4NA. By installing or using EdgeWeave you accept this licence. If you do not, do not install or use it.

2. What you may do

We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use EdgeWeave on your own computers, for your own purposes, including in your work. The free edition has no charge. A paid edition (Pro) is enabled by a licence key and may be used on the number of installs allowed with that key, as described when you buy it. You may make backup copies of the installer for your own use.

3. What you may not do

• Copy, share, sell, rent, lease, sublicense or otherwise distribute EdgeWeave, or offer it to others as a hosted or managed service.
• Share or publish your licence key, or work around or disable licence or edition checks.
• Modify EdgeWeave, or create products based on it, except as these terms or open-source licences allow.
• Decompile, disassemble or reverse engineer it, or try to extract its source code, except to the extent the law gives you that right and only after asking us for the information first where the law requires it.
• Remove copyright or licence notices.

Bundled open-source components and the SDK are different: see section 5.

4. Your work belongs to you

You own the workflows, projects, data and results you create with EdgeWeave. We claim no rights to them. When you export a workflow as Python code or publish a dashboard, the output is yours to use, change and share, including commercially. Where that output contains code that came from EdgeWeave, we license it to you for those purposes, free of charge and with no time limit. Please keep any copyright notices that appear in the exported code.

5. Open-source and third-party software

EdgeWeave includes software from other people, and some of our own libraries are open source. That software stays under its own licence, which applies instead of this one for that software, and nothing here restricts what those licences let you do. The EdgeWeave SDK (used to write nodes and modules) is released under the Apache License 2.0, and our PolyWeave and SimWeave libraries are open source under their own licences. 6. Modules from the marketplace

Modules you install from the marketplace are covered by our terms of service and any terms the creator provides. A module can run code with the same access as EdgeWeave, so install only modules you trust.

7. AI features and online services

The AI assistant and AI nodes send what you choose to the provider you configure, using your own keys. Their terms and charges apply, and we do not see that data. Results can be wrong, so check them before you rely on them. EdgeWeave contacts our servers to check for updates, to use the marketplace, and to check a paid licence. See our privacy notice.

8. Updates

We may release updates that add, change or remove features. We will try not to remove something you have paid for without a good reason. Free features may change.

9. No guarantee, and our responsibility

EdgeWeave is software that runs on your computer and works on your data, so please keep backups. Nothing in this licence limits any liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud, or your rights as a consumer. Subject to that: the free edition is provided as it is, without promises that it will be error free; we are not liable for losses that were not a foreseeable result of our breach, for loss of data or profits arising from your use of it, or for business losses if you use it for business; and our total liability to you for the paid edition is limited to what you paid for it.

10. Ending this licence

You can stop at any time by uninstalling. We may end this licence if you seriously or repeatedly break it, and you must then stop using EdgeWeave. If we end a paid licence that you bought and did not misuse, we will refund it. Sections 3, 4, 5 and 9 survive.

11. General

This licence is governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts have jurisdiction, although if you are a consumer living elsewhere in the UK you may also use your local courts. We may update this licence for new versions of EdgeWeave; a new version applies to updates you install after it is published. Questions: [email protected].
