EdgeWeave for Windows

One installer. It bundles its own Python, so there is nothing else to set up.

Install

1. Run the downloaded installer. It installs for your user only, so no administrator prompt appears.
2. EdgeWeave opens when it finishes. The first launch takes a little longer while it prepares your data folder.
3. Open the demo project and run a workflow: Getting started.

If Windows shows a warning

The installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen may show “Windows protected your PC”. Choose More info, then Run anyway. You can check the download is the file we published by comparing its checksum, below.

Verify your download

In PowerShell, from the folder you downloaded to:

Get-FileHash .\EdgeWeave-Setup.exe -Algorithm SHA256

The hash it prints should match the SHA-256 shown above (case does not matter).

Your data

Projects, installed modules and settings live in your user data folder, not the install folder, so updating or reinstalling never touches them. See Projects and workflow files.
